These last few weeks have been a little crazy. But that’s a good thing. Tonight, The Husband and I are going to turn down the volume a bit. We’re going to dinner at one of our most favorite, intimate spots - Cafe du Jour. Dinner there around this time of year has become a sort of tradition with us. They have a brilliant garden in the back yard that is tiny and cozy and perfect. This evening’s dining treat is brought to us by our three-year wedding anniversary. We’re going to eat whatever we want and enjoy the exquisite little garden tucked in the back of the restaurant.

This ensemble was from last night. Since yesterday was technically our actual wedding date, I didn’t feel like cracking open the computer when I finally made it home at 8 pm. Forgive me?

The above necklace was a birthday gift from my dear pal, Ashley. The Husband and I have selected a name for our impending bundle of joy. Ashley, being ever so thoughtful, got me this gorgeous and simple piece with Little One’s first initial engraved upon it. I’m sure you can image just how special this gift is to me. Ashley said, “You better not have a boy!” She knows that our boy’s name does not start with the letter S. Here’s to hoping that ultrasound tech was correct!
